OCBC CYCLE 2020
RULES AND REGULATIONS

Updated as of January 2020

GENERAL

  1. OCBC Cycle 2020 (the “Event”) is owned by Oversea-Chinese Banking Corporation Limited (the “Event Owner”) and organised by PICH Event Management Pte Ltd (the "Event Organiser”). These rules and regulations (the "Regulations"), which can be found at http://www.ocbccycle.com (the "Official Website”), apply to all persons participating in the Event.

  2. By submitting the application to participate in the Event, the person named in the online form (the "Participant”) acknowledges that he/she has read these Regulations, and confirm his/her agreement and acceptance to abide by and comply with these Regulation. The Event Owner and the Event Organiser reserve the right to vary, amend, delete or add to any of these Regulations, at any time, in its sole and absolute discretion without prior notice.

  3. By submitting the application, the Participant also gives the Event Owner, the Event Organiser and the relevant business partners and agents permission to collect, use and disclose his/her personal data (i) for purposes reasonably required for the organising and conducting of the Event; (ii) to contact the Participant to promote and market the Event and future events organised or held by the Event Owner and/or Event Organiser; and (iii) for such purposes as may be set out in the Event Owner's Data Protection Policy, which is accessible at http://www.ocbc.com/policies or available on request and which the Participant is deemed to have read and understood through his/her submission of the application.

  4. Registration for the Event is confirmed upon payment of the relevant registration fee and issuance of a confirmation slip by the Event Organiser.

  5. The Event Owner reserves the right to use any photographs, motion pictures, images, recordings, or any other record of the Event and its Participants for any commercial advertising and other promotional purposes linked to the Event or any future events organised or held by the Event Owner.

  6. The Participant agrees to: (i) provide true, accurate, current and complete information about himself/herself in the registration form (the "Registration Data”) and (ii) maintain and promptly update the Registration Data to ensure that it remains true, accurate, current and complete. The Event Owner and/or the Event Organiser may contact the Participant from time to time by email and/or SMS and/or phone call in connection with the Event.

  1. After registration, there will be no refund of any registration fees to any Participant who does not in due course take part in the Event, for any reason whatsoever. Registration is also strictly non-transferrable.

  2. The Event Owner and the Event Organiser reserves the right to modify any of these rules and regulations from time to time as they deem fit. If there is ambiguity in any of these provisions, the Event Owner and the Event Organiser shall be the sole authority to interpret them – and in so doing, they may (but is not obliged to) take into account the interests of all affected Participants. Participants will be notified of any amendments to these Regulations on the Official Website.

  3. The Participant acknowledges that the Event Owner does not assume any operational role in connection with the organization of the Event. As such, the Participant agrees that the Event Owner shall not be held liable for any loss, damage, personal injury, death, or damage to or loss of property, in connection with the Event.

  4. To the greatest extent permitted by the law, the Event Owner and the Event Organiser shall not be held liable for any loss, damage, personal injury, death, or damage to or loss of property, in connection with the Event.

  5. The Event Owner and the Event Organiser reserves the right to cancel or change any details of the Event or any component of it at any time without prior notice to Participants. Every reasonable effort will be made to inform Participants of changes prior to the date of the Event. If the Event or any component of it is cancelled, there will be no refund of registration fees paid. The Event Owner and the Event Organiser shall not be liable for any consequential loss or inconvenience.

SAFETY AND MEDICAL

  1. The Event Organiser reserves the right, at any time and without prior notice to Participants, to amend the cycling routes for the Event as it deems fit for the safety of the Participants. In such cases, every reasonable effort will be made to inform Participants prior to the date of the Event. The Event Organiser shall not be liable for any loss or inconvenience resulting from or attributable to such changes.

  2. Participants must not:

    1. Ride without a cycling helmet;
    2. Ride dangerously or negligently;
    3. Wear any mobile music device while riding;
    4. Use hand-held cameras or telephones while riding; 
    5. Ride with Aero helmet; or
    6. Ride with their pets
  3. For the safety of Participants, the following bicycles are not allowed:

    1. Bicycles with disc wheels/rim covers;
    2. Bicycles with aero or extension bars;
    3. Bicycles with fixed wheels or fixed gears;
    4. Bicycles with child seat (no pillion in any manner);
    5. Specialist time trial bicycles;
    6. Motorised bicycles;
    7. Unicycles;
    8. Scooters;
    9. Trailer bicycles;
    10. Recumbent bicycles;
    11. Trikes;
    12. Hand cycles; and
    13. Tandem bicycles
  4. All bicycles, regardless of the categories, must be properly fitted with two brakes and rear bike lights or reflective lights. Single-gear bicycles may not be suitable for long-distance cycling. Using these bicycles to ride in the Event may prove to be challenging on some parts of the route (for example, cycling uphill). Please note that you are not allowed to abandon your bicycles along the cycling route as this can be a safety hazard to others.

  5. Tandem bicycles and hand cycles may be allowed for physically-challenged participants. Participants should seek prior approval from the Event Organiser for usage of such bicycles by writing in to enquiry@ocbccycle.com. All such requests will be evaluated on a case-by-case basis and the Event Organiser will respond within three to five working days. The Event Organiser reserves the right to decline any such requests at its sole discretion without assigning any reason.

  6. Participants who attend the Event with unapproved bicycles will be prohibited from participating in the Event.

  7. Participants will not be allowed to change their allocated start pens.

  8. Start pen opening times:

  1. Mighty Savers® Kids and Family Rides - thirty minutes before their respective flag off times at 4:50pm, 5:20pm, 5:50pm, 6:20pm.
  2. The Sportive Ride – one hour before the flag off time at 5:15am.
  3. The Straits Times Ride – one hour before the flag off time at 6:45am.
  1. All Participants must follow the designated routes and abide by the instructions given by the security, traffic management team and Event officials throughout the Event.

  2. For safety reasons, if Event officials decide that Participants are unlikely to complete their ride within the stipulated duration, Event officials will divert them to designated diversion points along the route. Participation medals will still be issued to such affected Participants. However, Participants in The Sportive Ride will not be credited with a finishing time.

  3. Participants must furnish details on the reverse side of the assigned Event bib accurately and attach the Event bib to the back of their cycling jersey/ T-shirt. If there is an emergency, the Event Organiser and medical personnel will refer to the form to contact the next-of-kin identified on the Event bib.

  4. Participants not wearing the Event bib will not be allowed to participate in the Event.

  5. For safety reasons, Participants have to be equipped with proper footwear on the day of the Event (the "Event Day"). Participants are not allowed to be in slippers, sandals, crocs and other footwear deemed unsuitable by the Event Organiser during their ride. 

  6. Participants are encouraged to consult their medical practitioners prior to registration and before participating in the Event.

  7. If there is an emergency, medical personnel reserve the right:

  1. to remove any Participants if they decide that he/she is unable to continue his/her ride; and
  2. to send any casualties to the nearest recommended hospital.

  2. Participants are advised to take up their own personal or other insurance policies. Participants who wish to purchase basic insurance coverage by Great Eastern General Insurance Limited may do so during the registration process. 

  3. Basic personal accident insurance coverage is available for Participants between the age of two (2) to eighty (80). Insurance coverage shall commence from the official start of the ride till the end of the ride with the following policy limits:

    • - S$5,000.00 for accidental death
    • - S$5,000.00 for permanent disability
    • - S$500.00 for medical expenses (Excess: S$50.00 any one accident, maximum S$1,000 for the insured period). 

The basic personal accident insurance coverage is subject to Great Eastern General Insurance Limited standard policy terms, conditions and exceptions. Please refer to them for more information.

All payouts will be based on assessments and approvals of duly completed claim forms together with supporting documents within 14 days of the accident occurrence.

EVENT CATEGORIES AND APPROVED EQUIPMENT

  1. Participants can sign up for the following Event categories/activities:

  1. Mighty Savers® Kids Ride (2 - 5 years old)
  2. Mighty Savers® Family Ride (5 - 12 years old)
  3. The Straits Times Ride
  4. The Sportive Ride
  5. OCBC Cycle Speedway Club Championship
  6. OCBC Cycle Speedway Corporate Championship
  7. OCBC Cycle Speedway Women's Championship
  8. OCBC Cycle Corporate Chase
  9. Garmin e-Challenge 
  1. The Participant’s age will be deemed to be his/her age on the day he/she participates in the Event, except for any of the categories under OCBC Speedway Championships where the Participant's age will be deemed as the age the Participant will be upon reaching his/her birthday in the year of the Event. 
  1. The following applies to Mighty Savers® Tricycle Ride (2 - 5 years old):

    1. Only one parent or legal guardian of the Participant is allowed to accompany him/her on the designated path along the route.
    2. Only tricycles, bicycles with training wheels and balance bikes are allowed.
    3. Two-wheeled bikes are not allowed. For the full list of approved bikes, please visit this link
  2. The following applies to Mighty Savers® Family Ride (5 - 12 years old):

    1. Children in these categories will ride for approximately 20 minutes.
    2. Parent or guardian taking part in the Mighty Savers® Family ride, must be at 21 years old and will be allowed to accompany his/her children on a different bicycle.
    3. For safety reasons, only road bikes, mountain bikes, folding bikes, single speed bikes with freewheel and two brakes, touring bikes, hybrid bikes, mini velo bikes and BMX bikes are allowed. All such bikes must also come with two brakes. For the full list of approved bikes, please visit this link.
  3. The following applies to The Straits Times Ride:

    1. Participants, who must be 13 years of age and above, will ride for an approximate distance of 23km.
    2. For safety reasons, only road bikes, mountain bikes, folding bikes, single speed bikes with freewheel and two brakes, touring bikes, hybrid bikes, mini velo bikes and BMX bikes are allowed. All such bikes must also come with two brakes. For the full list of approved bikes, please visit this link.
    3. The distance for The Straits Times Ride stated on the Official Website is only tentative. The distance and route will be finalised only after regulatory approval is obtained.
    4. Apparels will only be given to Participant who registered to "Go Red".
  4. The following applies to The Sportive Ride:

    1. Participants, who must be 16 years of age and above, will ride for an approximate distance of 42km.
    2. For safety reasons, only road bikes, mountain bikes, folding bikes, single speed bikes with freewheel and two brakes, touring bikes, hybrid bikes, mini velo bikes and BMX bikes are allowed. All such bikes must also come with two brakes. For the full list of approved bikes, please visit this link.
    3. The distance for The Sportive Ride stated on the Official Website is only tentative. The distance and route will be finalised only after obtaining regulatory approval.
    4. Apparels will only be given to Participant who registered to "Go Red".
  5. The following applies to OCBC Cycle Speedway Club Championship:

    1. Teams can indicate their interest using the reservation form.
    2. Teams will be given a URL to make payment after the Event Organiser has reviewed and accepted their reservations.
    3. Team reservations are confirmed only after the Event Organiser receives payment and a confirmation slip is issued to the team members see (36(e) below. 
    4. Teams will be given a code to register; after which, all registration must be completed by 24 April 2020.
    5. Places are confirmed only after the members have completed their registration and the confirmation slip is sent to the email addresses provided during registration.
    6. Each team must comprise of four riders and one reserve rider who are 19 years of age and above.
    7. Each Participant’s age will be deemed as the age the Participant will be upon reaching his/her birthday in the year of the Event.
    8. Mixed team of female and male riders is allowed.
    9. All riders must be pre-registered and no replacement is allowed. Each rider can only represent one team across all OCBC Cycle Speedway Championship categories. Each club can only register one team. The second team onwards will be placed on a waiting list. 
    10. Each club can only register up to a maximum of two teams. 
    11. A maximum of 15 teams is allowed for this category and registration is based on a first come first served basis. 
    12. The 15 teams will be divided into three Qualifying Rounds.
    13. The teams will ride 10 laps on a 1km course where the first two riders will complete five laps in total before handing over to the next two riders who will ride the remaining five laps. The two teams wil the fastest Team Mean Time from each Qualifying Round will proceed to the Semi-Finals, together with the two Best Chaser Teams across all Qualifying Rounds. 
    14. The two teams with the fastest Team Mean Time of each Semi-Final round will proceed to the Finals together with the Best Chaser Team across both rounds of the Semi-Finals.
    15. Best Chaser Team is the team with the best Team Mean Time ranked below the teams progressing to the next round as indicated above.
    16. Team Mean Time is calculated based on the average finish time of the 3rd and 4th rider.
    17. Following the point system developed by The Singapore Cycling Federation (SCF), points will be awarded to all riders in the top 6 teams for both OCBC Cycle Speedway Club & S.E.A. Championships. For more information, pleae view here
    18. The following prizes will be given away
      1. Champion – S$800 and Champions' jersey; First Runner-up – S$600 and Second Runner-up – S$400
      2. The top eight teams will get to ride exclusively in the Champions Wave of The Sportive Ride on 10 May 2020 with the national riders who competed in the OCBC Cycle Speedway S.E.A Championship, the local riders who competed in the OCBC Cycle Speedway Women's Championship and corporate riders who competed in the OCBC Cycle Speedway Corporate Championship. 
    19. There is only one "open" category, with no separate winners/categories awards for mixed team, age group, etc.
    20. For safety reasons, only road bikes with two working brakes are allowed.
  6. The following applies to the OCBC Cycle Speedway Corporate Championship:

    1. Companies can indicate their interest using the reservation form.
    2. Companies will be given a URL to make payment after the Event Organiser has reviewed and accepted their reservations.
    3. Company reservations are confirmed only after the Event Organiser receives payment and a confirmation slip is issued to the team members see (37(e) below.
    4. Companies will be given a code to register; after which, all registration must be completed by 24 April 2020.
    5. Places are confirmed only after the members have completed their registration and the confirmation slip is sent to the email addresses provided during registration.
    6. Each team must comprise of four riders and one reserve rider who are 19 years of age and above.
    7. Each Participant’s age will be deemed as the age the Participant will be upon reaching his/her birthday in the year of the Event.
    8. A mixed team of female and male riders is allowed.
    9. All riders must be pre-registered and no replacement is allowed.
    10. All riders must be employees from the same company. Proof of identification will be requested upon signing in on event day. Each rider can only represent one team across all OCBC Cycle Speedway Championship categories. Each company can only register one team. The second team onwards will be placed on a waiting list. A maximum of eight teams is allowed or this category and registration is based on a first come first served basis. 
    11. The eight teams will be divided into two Qualifying Rounds.
    12. The team will ride 10 laps on a 1km course where the first two riders will complete five laps in total before handing over to the next two riders who will ride the remaining five laps. 
    13. The two teams with the fastest Team Mean Time from each Qualifying Round will proceed to the Semi-Finals, together with the Best Chaser Team across all Qualifying Rounds.
    14. The four teams with the fastest Team Mean Time of the Semi-Finals will proceed to the Finals.
    15. Best Chaser Team is the team with the best Team Mean Time ranked below the teams progressing to the next round as indicated above.
    16. Team Mean Time is calculated based on the average finish time of 3rd and 4th rider.
    17. The following prizes will be given away
      1. Champion – S$400; First Runner-up – S$300 and Second Runner-up – S$200
      2. The Top four teams will get to ride exclusively in the Champions Wave of The Sportive Ride on 10 May 2020 with the national riders who competed in the OCBC Cycle Speedway S.E.A Championship and local riders who competed in the OCBC Cycle Speedway Club Championship and in the OCBC Cycle Speedway Women's Championship.
    18. There is only one "open" category, with no separate winners/categories awards for mixed team, age group, etc
    19. For safety reasons, only road bikes with two working brakes are allowed.
  7. The following applies to the OCBC Cycle Speedway Women's Championship:

    1. Teams can indicate their interest using the reservation form.
    2. Team will be given a URL to make payment after the Event Organiser has reviewed and accepted their reservations.
    3. Team reservations are confirmed only after the Event Organiser receives payment and a confirmation slip is issued to the team members see (38(e) below. 
    4. Teams will be given a code to register; after which, all registration must be completed by 24 April 2020. Places are confirmed only after the members have completed their registration and the confirmation slip is sent to the email addresses provided during registration. 
    5. A minimum of 4 women's team is required in order to proceed with the category. Participants will be informed should the category be cancelled and refunds will be made accordingly. 
    6. Each team must comprise of four riders and one reserve who are 19 years of age and above.
    7. Each Participant’s age will be deemed as the age the Participant will be upon reaching his/her birthday in the year of the Event.
    8. Only female riders is allowed.
    9. All riders must be pre-registered and no replacement is allowed. Each rider can only represent one team across all OCBC Cycle Speedway Championship categories. 
    10. A maximum of five teams is allowed for this category and registration is based on a first come first serve basis. 
    11. All five teams will be competing in one Qualifying Round. The team will ride 10 laps on a 1km course where the first two riders will complete five laps in total before handing over to the next two riders who will ride the remaining five laps.
    12. The four teams with the fastest Team Mean Time of the Qualifying Round will proceed to the Finals.
    13. Team Mean Time is calculated based on the average finish time of the 3rd and 4th rider.
    14. The following prizes will be given away
      1. Champion – S$800; First Runner-up – S$600 and Second Runner-up – S$400
      2. The top three teams will get to ride exclusively in the Champions Wave of The Sportive Ride on 10 May 2020 with the national riders who competed in the OCBC Cycle Speedway S.E.A Championship, the local riders who competed in the OCBC Cycle Speedway Club Championship and the corporate riders who competed in the OCBC Cycle Speedway Corporate Championship.
    15. There is only one "open" category, with no separate winners/categories awards for age group, etc.
    16. For safety reasons, only road bikes with two working brakes are allowed.
  8. The following applies to OCBC Cycle Corporate Chase: 

    1. Teams can indicate their interest using the reservation form.
    2. Teams will be given a URL to make payment after the Event Organiser has reviewd and accepted their reservations.
    3. Teams reservations are confirmed only after the Event Organiser receives payment and a confirmation slip is issued to the team members see (39(e) below.
    4. Teams will be given a code to register; after which, all registration must be completed by 24 April 2020.
    5. Places are confirmed only after the members have completed their registration and the confirmation slip is sent to the email addresses provided during registration. 
    6. Each team must comprise of four participants who are 19 years of age and above.
    7. Mixed team of female and male riders is allowed.
    8. All riders must be pre-registered and no replacement is allowed. All riders must be employees from the same company. 
    9. Each rider can only represent one team. Each company can only register a maximum of two teams for the OCBC Cycle Corporate Chase. The third team onwards will be placed on a waiting list. 
    10. The category permits up to 30 teams and registration is based on a first come first served basis.
    11. Result will be based on the combined completed ride time (Total Ride Time) of all 4 riders in the team. The three teams with the fastest Total Ride Time will respectively win the Champion First Runner-Up, and Second Runner-Up prize.
    12. Prizes:
      1. Champion – S$400 and Champions’ jerseys; First Runner-up – S$300 and Second Runner-up – S$200.
    13. ​There is only one "open" category, with no separate winners/categories awards for mixed team, age group, etc. 
  1. The following applies to Garmin e-Challenge:

    1. The Public Challenge is for public and OCBC Cycle mass rides Participants only.
    2. The Speedway Riders Challenge is for OCBC Cyclce Speedway Championship Participants only. 
    3. Participants must be 13 years of age and above as of event year to participate in the activity. 
    4. Only up to 216 pax can compete on each day of the Garmin e-Challenge, which consist of both the Public Challenge and the Speedway Riders Challenge. 
    5. The free registration slots are on a first-come-first-served basis. 
    6. Participants who registered online are required to bring along their confirmation slips. 
    7. Onsite registration is allowed. However, time slot is subjected to availability. 
    8. Participants are strictly not allowed to change their time slots after registration. 
    9. No replacement of rider is allowed after registration is completed. 
    10. Helmets are not required to participate in this activity. 
    11. Participants are required to have their weight taken at the holding area prior to their ride. 
    12. Each Participant will be allocated 5 minutes to clock their longest distance on the trainer. 
    13. Participants will be ranked based on the distance. 
    14. In the event of a tie, Participants will be ranked by the pre-determined criteria of highest average speed and/or highest maximum speed in order of importance. 
    15. Decisions made by the officials and Event Organiser are final and no appeal will be entertained. 
    16. Participants are required to sign-in at the registration area inside OCBC Arena Hall 1, 15 minutes before their registered timeslot. 
    17. It is the responsibility of the participants to be punctual for their registered time slot. Any Participants who are late may not be allowed to ride in the registered time slot to allow for smooth progression of the event schedule. 
    18. Participants are expected to display good sportsmanlike behaviour at all times. Any Participant who displays behavior to the contrary or is abusive towards event officials, spectators and public, will have his/her team "Disqualifed" (DQ) and removed from the venue. 
    19. At his/her discretion, officials may impose a penalty on the combined distance for any infringement of rules or display unsportsmanlike conduct during the activity.
    20. Prizes:
      1. Public Challenge (each day):
        • The first 11 Public Challenge Participants of each day to ride 2.4km within 5 minutes will receive a $100 voucher from either Peach Garden at OCBC Centre, or Beng Thin Hoon Kee Restaurant.
        • ​1st - 3rd: Garmin Forerunner 45 watch (worth $299) each
      2. ​Speedway Riders Challenge (across both days): 
        • ​​1st: Garmin Vector 3 pedal-based power meter (worth $1,499)
        • 2nd: Garmin Edge 1030 Bike Computer Trainer (worth $899)
        • 3rd - 4th: Timbuk2 Bike Travel case (worth $799)
        • 5th: Garmin Forerunner 45 running watch (worth $299) 
        • 6th - 10th: Hydro Flask 16oz water bottles (worth $49.90) 
    21. Results will be announced on social media and contacted for prize collection.
    22. Reattempts are allowed. However, slots are subjected to availability. 
    23. Registration for the Garmin e-Challenge does not include the event pack. 
    24. Participants of Garmin e-Challenge will not be included in the OCBC Cycle lucky draws. 
  2. The distance and duration for each of the Event categories are approximate. The Event Organiser reserves the right to change the distance and duration for any of the categories should circumstance demands it.

  3. If you are under the age of 21, you will need your parent's or guardian's consent. Complete the indemnity section found on the online registration form. The completion of the indemnity form found on the Official Website shall constitute and be deemed as the Participant (who is under the age of 21) having obtained consent from his/her parent or legal guardian to participate in the Event.

  4. Once Participants complete their registration for the Event, they are strictly not allowed to:

    1. transfer or sell their Event bibs;
    2. change their event categories/activities; or
    3. change the size for their Event apparel (only applicable for registration under "Go Red" and Mighty Savers®  Kids and Family Ride).
  5. Participants who successfully complete the ride in their relevant Event category will be awarded:

    1. A medal upon the presentation of their Event bib to the respective officials on Event day.
    2. An e-certificate of participation, which will be made available on the Event website within four weeks of the date of the Event.

 

THE CORPORATE BIKE RIDE PACKAGE

  1. Companies can indicate their interest using the reservation form from 8 January 2020 to 10 April 2020.

  2. Places are confirmed only after the Event Organiser receives payment and after the confirmation slip is sent to the email address provided during registration.

  3. Companies must complete the payment of all registration fees within five working days of receiving the e-invoice. Cheques must be mailed to:

  1. Companies’ employees can choose to sign up for either The Straits Times Ride or The Sportive Ride, subject to the number of places stated in the packages that their companies have purchased.

  2. For companies that register for The Corporate Bike Ride Package:

    1. No event apparel will be given to the employees.
    2. These companies are eligible to compete for the Longest Distance Award.
  3. Longest Distance Award:

    1. The company whose participants accumulate the longest distance, regardless of the package signed up for, wins the Longest Distance Award.
    2. Distances of disqualified participants will not be taken into account.
  4. Individual registration by the companies’ employees begins on 8 January 2020. All registrations must be completed by 24 April 2020. Incomplete registrations after 24 April 2020 will be deemed as voided.

  5. Registration by the companies' employees cannot be done at the launch of OCBC Cycle on 7 January 2020 at OCBC Square, Singapore Sports Hub and accordingly these employees are not eligible for the special gifts. 

  6. Once the companies’ employees complete their registration for the Event, they are strictly not allowed to:

    1. transfer or sell their Event bibs;
    2. change their event categories; or
    3. change the size of their Event apparel (if applicable) 
  7. There will not be any discount applicable for The Corporate Bike Ride package. 

ADDITIONAL NOTE

  1. OCBC credit/debit card members will be entitled to a 10% discount off the relevant full rate registration fees. This discount does not apply for Go 5/10 or More registration entries and corporate registration.

  2. All 2015 - 2019 cyclist of the non-competitive rides will enjoy S$3 Loyal Cyclist discount off the online registration fees of any non-competitive ride category and discounts can apply to multiple non-competitive ride categories. You will enjoy another 10% discount when payment is made with an OCBC credit/debit card. The Loyal Cyclist Discount is applied automatically when you sign up online. 

  3. Participants who purchased their registration entries under Go 5/10 or More will enjoy exclusive discounts. Registration of groups between 5 - 9 pax will receive a 10% discount off registration fee. Registration of groups above 10 pax will receive a 13% discount off registration fee. OCBC credit/debit card members will not be entitled to additional 10% discount off the registration fee. Kindly note that each promotion or discount cannot be used in conjunction or together with another promotion or discount.

  4. Go 5/10 or More discount is only applicable for Participants who purchased their registration under "Go Red".

  5. Discounts apply only to online registrations via the Official Website.

  6. All fees are quoted in Singapore Dollars.

  7. There will be no extensions of any registration promotions.

OCBC Pay AnyoneTM TERMS AND CONDITIONS

  1. This Promotion is from 7 January 2020 - 24 April 2020 ("Promotion Period").

  2. This Promotion is valid for the person submitting the application to participate in the Event and receives his/her confirmation for the Event ("the Participant").

  3. The Participant is also deemed to have read, and agreed to abide by, the Event's Regulations.

  4. First 500 Participants who register for the Event from 7 January 2020, either at the OCBC Cycle 2020 Event Launch or online using OCBC Pay AnyoneTM will be entitled to S$10.00 casback upon completion of payment through OCBC Pay AnyoneTM application.

  5. The $S10.00 cashback will be credited to the Participant's OCBC bank account after 30 days from registration. 

  6. The cashback is only applicable for registration under the following categories:

    1. ​Mighty Savers® Kids & Family Rides

    2. The Sportive Ride

    3. The Straits Times Ride

  7. After registration, there will be no refund of any registration fees to any Participant who does not in due course take part in the Event, for any reason whatsoever. Registration is also strictly non-transferrable. 

  8. The Event Owner and the Event Organiser reserve the right to vary, amend, delete or add to any of the Terms and Conditions, at any time, in its sole and absolute discretion without prior notice.

  9. By submitting the registration, the Participant consent under the Personal Data Policy Act (Cap 26 of 2012) to the collection, use, disclosure, and processing of their personal data by/to the Event Owner and such other third party as the Event Owner may reasonably consider necessary for the purpose of this Promotion, and confirm that they agree to be bound by the terms set out in a Data Protection Policy, which is accessible at http://www.ocbc.com/policies.
